Stop Googling Menopause Symptoms & Get Support
Your body is changing – but you haven’t changed a thing.
Your energy?
Drained. You wake up already tired.
Your patience?
Gone.
Add to that changes to your menstrual cycle, sleep disturbances and body changes. (Also, why have my ears started itching all the time?).
If you are ready to get your energy back, understand your changing body, and start feeling like yourself again – you’re in the right place.
Here you are, Googling menopause symptoms…
Again.
Trying to find out what to do about hot flashes. Can you make diet changes, or do you need hormone therapy? What about a supplement?
Waking up between 2 and 3 a.m. most nights, unable to get back to sleep. You’ve heard that sleep problems can occur in menopause, too. Does that mean you are in menopause? Or is it perimenopause?
Last month, your period was late, and you had to take a pregnancy test – a scare you thought you left behind with your twenties and low-rise jeans.
And why, all of a sudden, do you feel bloated after everything you eat?
Your body is changing, and you want to eat well, but you cannot face going on another diet.
And the fatigue. How can I feel this tired all the time?
The last time you visited your doctor and brought up your symptoms, they told you you were too young to be in menopause – just eat well and get some exercise. Not helpful.
This can’t be the way it is from now on.
Menopause doesn’t have to be a mystery
You can feel prepared for what’s ahead and feel good in your body
Instead of feeling tired and foggy all the time, imagine having the energy to power through your day and keep up with your kids.
Instead of being afraid of how many carbs to eat, you can feel confident that you know the right choice for you and your body.
Instead of feeling bloated and uncomfortable after eating, you can finish a meal feeling satisfied and content.
Menopause is transformational
Your body will change.
How you take care of it, think about it, and show up for it will determine whether or not you will thrive.

Meet the creator of The Nourished Menopause Program
Melanie Steele
registered dietitian & menopause society certified practitioner
A confession right at the start: I’m new to perimenopause.
I’m in my early forties and have just started experiencing some changes related to the menopause transition. In fact, it wasn’t until I was studying to become a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner that I realized many of my experiences could be explained by fluctuating hormones – the hallmark of perimenopause.
While I may be at the start of this journey, I have been supporting women across the spectrum of menopause with their health for more than five years.
I also understand how insidious and pervasive diet culture is. It tells us our changing bodies are wrong and makes us question ourselves. We don’t need diet culture telling us to “stop the middle-aged spread.” Instead, we need compassion and information about how the menopause transition affects our health. We need to feel empowered and supported.
In my work as a dietitian, I see many people who feel unnecessary guilt and shame about eating. Who are tired of dieting but don’t know what to do instead.
Health is much more complex than what we eat – and many aspects are beyond our control. I focus on helping you improve the health behaviours you can control and fostering a healthy relationship with food.
My goal is to make your experience working with a dietitian feel collaborative, safe, and free from judgment. I want to help you make informed, evidence-based decisions about your health and help you heal from diet culture. So you can enjoy delicious and nourishing food that fits your lifestyle and health goals.
you deserve to invest in your health for now and for your future

Still Have Questions?
How long do I have access to the program?
You get lifetime access to the video learning library and digital resources. The monthly Q&A session, bonus live-pop up events and community forum support ends after 12 months. There is an option to continue these supports with a monthly subscription.
What if I can’t make it to the Q& A sessions?
You can submit your questions beforehand, and Melanie will answer live on the call. Making time for the sessions or watching the replays will help you get the most out of this program, as you learn from hearing other people ask questions. Often, these are questions you didn’t even realize you had until you heard them asked.
I don’t live in British Columbia. Can I still join the program?
Yes, the group coaching option is available for everyone! If you decide to add additional 1:1 nutrition counselling, this is only open to residents of British Columbia at this time.
I want to take this program, but this isn’t the best time for me. Will it be offered again?
Yes! Once the program gets started you can join anytime. Enrollment is expected to open at the end of October 2024.
will I lose weight on this program?
The Nourished Menopause Program is health-focused, meaning we focus on building lasting and sustainable health habits. Your weight might change as an outcome of these changes. However, the program does not prioritize weight loss as the primary outcome.
This program is not suitable for those with eating disorders.
how do i know if this program is right for me?
This program is for people in their late 30s, 40s and 50s who are in perimenopause or even the early stages of postmenopause.
